Well-known keynote speakers and executives shared their knowledge and vision on current topics for three days. Visitors were inspired by, among others, Ernst Kuipers (chairman of the supervisory board of Deventer Hospitals and supervisory board of TU Delft), Mariëlle Ploumen (chairman of the board of Altrecht), Bianca Rouwenhorst (director of information policy and CIO - Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport), Jeroen van den Over (chairman of the board of Fundis), Michel van Genderen (internist-intensivist and founder of the AI ethics lab Erasmus MC Rotterdam), Payal Arora (digital anthropologist & professor of inclusive AI at UU), Bas Bloem (professor of Parkinson's Radboudumc), Bart Scheerder (co-founder Applied AI Acceleration Lab UMC Groningen),Jet Bussemaker (RVS) and Margje Mahler (director Sensire).
Day chairman is Danka Stuijver (general practitioner, board member VvAA and columnist Volkskrant).

Visitors who wanted to broaden their knowledge on a specific topic could join one of the guided tours led by an expert. The route took you across the exhibition floor past various exhibitors, who briefly updated you on their healthcare solutions.

- ICTU - Kickstart Information Security
The program in this theater was full of interesting sessions in close cooperation with leading partners such as Santeon, Vilans, Patient Federation, Helpdesk Digital Care, Lentis, Z-CERT and REN. The current themes of AI, data availability, cybersecurity, regional cooperation, digital skills and remote care were of course extensively discussed.
For three days, VWS, Nictiz, VZVZ, NEN, MedMij and Zorginstituut Nederland had their own program in the theater 'Working together on data availability'. Inspiring speakers updated their audience on data exchange and data availability in healthcare.
Visitors discovered the latest healthcare innovations in ICT Theaters 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7. Here, exhibitors shared inspiring knowledge sessions and live demos of smart solutions that make healthcare more efficient and ready for the future. Visitors were updated, surprised and inspired.
Presentation of National Care Innovation Award 2026
On the square were the finalists with a chance to win the National Care Innovation Award 2026. This annual award was presented for the third time during Zorg & ict in 2026 and the winners were announced by Jet Bussemaker.
In addition, visitors to the plaza met start-up, enthusiastic entrepreneurs supported by the ROM (regional development agency). They showed their products and creative ideas that contribute to future-proof healthcare.
