Ambyon focuses on solving the rapidly growing shortage among healthcare professionals: 60,000 nurses (levels 3 and 4) by 2032 (Netherlands) and 4.5 million healthcare professionals worldwide (WHO). In addition to this growing shortage, the quality of care is under pressure, due to limited attention to the patient. Costs are rising, and job satisfaction is suffering from the high workload. Based on 1.5 years of full-time market research (hundreds of interviews, participant days, expert panel sessions and mini-internships, during which our team worked as nurses), we learned that 25-33% (more than 2 hours per day) of a healthcare professional's time is wasted on logistical tasks. Time that could have been spent on the patient, thus making the job more attractive.

The Ambyon ONE robot assists healthcare professionals in their logistical tasks, such as fetching medication, disposables, food, small medical equipment, blood products, wound care kits, beds and taking away lab samples, among others. This creates more time for patient care (>1 hour per day, per employee), increases the quality of care and job satisfaction, saves a lot of costs and can stop the growing shortage of care.

With the Ambyon ONE we reach the following target groups: healthcare professionals, including nurses, lab staff, pharmacy (assistants), logistics staff and care assistants.
