Eduard Holman is clinical director of the cardiac imaging lab at the LUMC. Focus on echocardiography in heart failure, valvular disease and congenital heart disease. He extended and optimized the workflow, storage, performance and reporting of echocardiographic examinations. As one of the first worldwide the LUMC started digital storage of echocardiograms in 1987. He organizes training programs for physicians and participates in research programs. Member of European Association of Echocardiography, Dutch Society of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, Dutch Working group on Echocardiography. Current research is focused on machine learning applied to cardiac imaging to further optimize logistics and diagnostic accuracy.
